I do not believe that there will be a NFL 2K15. I would love madden to put more into their game such as how a play feels about his team like NBA 2K series does. It needs more depth. Why buy a new console for what is being done now?

I talked to a GameStop manager and he told me that EA was declared a monopoly by the gov. and that they no longer have the exclusive rights

Well Americas game is sure not getting represented well with madden. It's definitely not a next gen system seller like the show or nba. There should be no monopolies in video games. All we can do is ponder what a 2k nfl game would look like on next gen seeing what they did almost 10 years ago.

Not really a chin scratcher. No way 2k makes a football game without an NFL license. That was done before and it failed miserably. Since EA still retains full exclusive rights, this entire conversation and blog is fairy tale.

Don't you think you're going a bit too hard on this subject? I mean it almost sounds/feels like your becoming infuriated at the idea of 2K producing an NFL game. Its really not that serious. If 2K ends up making an NFL game then so be it. Sounds as if you want 2K football fans to suffer and be forced to play Madden.

No actually I do not.... Fan boys spreading rumors that are impossible to come true in the near future should have no place on this website. While I agree competition is a good thing, it simply won't take place for many years if ever again as the NFL themselves does not want it. 2k hasn't made an NFL game in a decade and all pros 2k8 was awful.... Quit discrediting everyone's statements with your opinions. It is a FACT that EA was sued for monopolizing licenses. They lost the suit and gamers were paid a specific amount of money for each copy of certain games they bought. Also, thier exclusive license ran out last yr.
